Thanks to astute reader Empress Bee, who informed me that the word verification process makes posting difficult. Until that point, I was unaware of it.
Effective immediately, I have removed it.
However, if I start getting spam posts, I will have to turn moderation on. So, play nice, everyone!
if you set your comments to review after 3 days or something like that they will go to a spam comment place and you can review them before they post. i get about ten a month maybe. i just delete them monthly and they never hit the blog. the spammers post on older posts usually.

I have mine set on "moderation" I get an email when you comment and a button right on the email that I can publish, delete or mark as spam. Makes it way cool, easy
